Wow, it's been forever and a day since I've been alive as far as dA is concerned, right?

Putting that aside, I'm pleased to inform you that I have been rather randomly chosen to be on the 2009 Fanfiction Competition staff. It's rather exciting, I think, because I have been dead to that side of the fandom for like... years?

In any case, my particular contributions are going to be limited because I have NO idea what's going on for the most part XD I decided to put upon myself the task of making the awards/certificates because I can make lame certificates.

BUT I NEED HELP!!!

My question is whether or not anyone on deviantArt would be willing to volunteer.

Allow me to explain.

Odds are that you will not be making the certs themselves because there are a limited number and I would prefer to handle most of them myself just so there isn't confusion and blame to share, what have you. However, you can help with lettering, pre-planning, etc.

I REALLY need reliable people to help me out and if I could get just a few helping hands from the fandom on dA it would help out A LOT.

And if you think that this isn't enough work or enough of a challenge even, due not freight, dear artists! Because what I need the MOST help on is the first place awards.

Along with the certificate for first place, I believe that the winning writer should get an illustration for the fic (preferably a scene dealing with the area they won in).

Ha ha, while this is an EPIC idea, there are obvious reasons for why I'm wary of doing it all on my own. Seriously. Can you imagine?

That all being said, this is sort of like a test. I want to see, first off, how many people from dA are willing to lend me a helping hand for this awesome project.

Believe me, the winning fanfics from this year will deserve what we can give them. I have that feeling that the Competition is going to be fantastic this year
